The New Course and Facilities

Halifax West End Golf Club was founded in 1906 and throughout its history there have been significant changes to improve the course and facilities. The Club is about to undergo another such change. Part of the Club's land will be sold - and become much-needed housing - with the resulting income being used to improve the course, which will remain a full 18 holes, and related facilities. During this work - which will take approximately two years to complete fully - there will obviously be some disruption but members and visitors will still be able to play competitive and social golf and the Clubhouse will remain open. Further news will be shared as the project progresses but the ultimate aim is that the Club will remain one of the area's premiere 18 hole golf courses with a Clubhouse that is an asset to members, visitors and the local community. There will also be a benefit to the local environment as, like all modern developments, the work will be underpinned by plans to support the local native flora and fauna.
